National Night Out

Tuesday, August 1, 6-8:30pm, Beachview Park in Clarkston

The point of National Night Out is to make communities safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out was originally an event designed to increase security for citizens by teaching strategies to reduce chances of becoming  a victim of crime. Emphasis has expanded to include other safety strategies for citizens. For example,  EPIC Coalition will be represented, whose mission is to empower good choices in youth and discourage use of alcohol, vaping products and tobacco, and drugs not prescribed to them. Safe transportation options include (COAST),  and pedestrian safety awareness will be highlighted through LOOK OUT! Asotin County’s Pedestrian Safety Grant.

We're going to have some fun traffic safety-related activities and games!

There will be food trucks, cooling stations (plus swimming options!), and many other community organizations represented, so what an adventure!
